I've been to chive, parallel 33 and Kemo Sabe. They were all good,
I found chive to be a little inconsistent but delicious and the waiters are really attentive.
Parallel 33 was also delicious, is always packed when we walk past. I've heard mixed reviews but we've always really enjoyed it there. I wonder if its the slightly eclectic menu that puts people off. We particularly love the cocktails, 'tears of the prophet' a favourite.
Kemo Sabe is good too. If you've got an appetite you'll like it, the portions are huge. I think that might be good if you are veggie, I loved the tofu salad. mmmm I think if you've been to island prime you'll get a good idea of the cohn groups fare.
On reflection I would say Parallel 33 as its a little more intimate and more romantic. Have a lovely evening!

Damn, the old birthday question. It was so much easier when Denny's offered a free meal on your birthday.
For me it would be a toss up between Chive and Parallel 33.

Definitely Parallel 33.
Somewhat distant second choice, Chive.
I cannot suggest the others. Spread is not so much a special occasion thing and can be uneven.
Kemo Sabe is waaay more about the scene and the drinks. Way too loud, way too mediocre food.
Just my thoughts.
